Did you get to see the movie? I went in not expecting to like them together at all, and after The Hobbit: Unexpected hot dwarves, it was The Hobbit: An Unexpected Ship.

I believe the third film will be: "The Hobbit: an unexpected amount of tissues".

Are you kidding me? There will be NOTHING unexpected about the number of tissues! (Well, unless you're unspoiled, in which case.. Bless your poor, unfortunate soul.)

And I have not. At this point I'm thinking I won't make it to the theater before it leaves, but I want to SO BAD.

I'm glad you liked them anon! From everything I've seen and heard they are indeed incredibly likable. I think most my initial fears about the pairing are gone.

Oh, I know what'll happen! But I think the tissues will still exceed my expectations. The amount of foreshadowing in DoS screams "Peter Jackson is going to stomp on your heart and he's going to enjoy it".

One of my friends is unspoiled. He told me, when we got out of the theater: "well, what can happen next? They're going to take back the mountain and live happily, no?"
