Now first things first, I don't want this to turn into a hate and rage thread. If you can't comment on this thread without being respectful about our subject, please don't ruin it for everyone else who might have something to say.

Secondly I have (within the last half hour) only just turned up. I'd be grateful if Case could turn on IP logging to confirm that I have taken no part in the threads on secret three.

Ok. The subject of this thread is Chardmonster. I am fairly confident that I am not alone in having been hurt by a selection of her comments, the way she can sometimes talk to people and, well, you know the whole schtick. I won't go into details but some of the... distress I've experienced has carried across into my real life. You will of course tell me to "Toughen up and take it" or that "I shouldn't be on the internet if I can't take a bit of shit" and while you may be true, I can't help but assume that if our subject knew exactly how hurtful she can be, she might possibly reconsider the way she chooses to interact with people.

To that end I thought a "Petition" might be an idea. Anyone has anything respectful to say about how we feel about our interaction with chardmonster, here would be the place. If on the other hand you feel I am being a thin skinned wimp, I assure you I already know, but I can't exactly ask you not to comment about it, just don't let this get unpleasant please.

This is not, and hopfully will not become, a hate thread.

Option 3: Make sock accounts and PM the person in question! Talk to them about it instead of calling for a mass anon judgment or something. Most people will take a genuine expression of hurt from someone who contacts them privately better, and more to heart, than a bunch of anons who could be anyone and their friends.
