Because the jury found that V53 had an honest held belief that Duggan had a weapon, was going to shoot and he had to open fire using common law powers (to protect members of the public, his team, and himself).

I mean it's right there in the summation of the questiopns to be answered by the jury.

I don't find anything wrong with that? He had a gun just moments before and the officers thought they saw one.

I don't really know anything about this, but the main gist I get is very. D: Holy shit that sucks for his family and the law. :/
