Maybe it's because I've seen less DW, but I thought Sherlock's version of Irene Adler was just so embarrassing to watch. Talk about undermining a great character...

It was just so bad, and was the definitive point when I decided this show wasn't for me. And I'd thought The Blind Banker was annoying before that.

Yeah, Irene's episode was when I noped my way right out of the show and never looked back.

+1 and the whole "twist at the end" was just so contrived and absolutely in opposition to even the spirit of Canon...don't get me started.
