So triggers in GC have to be collapsed, but depression/suicide secrets are posted without warning? Case, I love you man, but I'm so freaking confused about the rules anymore.

I think the OPs have to warn for triggers.

...usually they do have trigger warnings, though. At least they have had in the last couple years, since SJWism has been a thing. There were never any trigger warnings for anything, ever, when FS first started up.

Saying "I love you man" doesn't make this comment less passive-aggressive, you know.

Trigger warning has always been the obligation of the person posting, in secrets and now in comment threads- Case will go back in after the fact if someone requests, but for good or ill he's never been the one making the judgement call on what does or doesn't warrant warning.

The mere mention of the words depression or suicide is not a trigger. It's just not. The secret doesn't describe a single thing, it does not give details of a situation, it just says the words.

Frankly, the thing in GC was idiotic, too, but at least that was discussing a tangential emotional issues in more depth, not just saying the WORD suicide. I can forgive people for getting their wank on about that -- this is just ludicrous.
