The only thing coming to my mind right now is Miss Frizzle from The Magic Schoolbus. That show may be long gone, but I remember having quite a few of the MSB educational computer games and badly wishing that I could have a teacher like her (yes, that included the magic schoolbus, but also the fact that she was just so enthusiastic about teaching and learning. None of my elementary school teachers were like that).

side note: Magic School Bus was on Netflix when I looked the other day and I got so excited.
