Are you kidding? Portraying a misogynistic era is not--at all--the same thing as endorsing those values. Joan and Peggy are two very strong female characters who are beloved by the fans. (Although I will say there are a lot of misogynistic MM fans--the insane Betty hatred when Don gets such a pass for his shitty parenting disgusts me. But I strongly disagree that the show itself "hates women"--it sounds as though you don't really know the show well.)
