Since this is complaints about white guys, can I just state here that I am so fucking sick of Benedict Cumberbatch?

Yeah, me too. And I feel kind of shitty about it? Like, he doesn't seem to be a bad guy. And he seems to really, sincerely, try as an actor. But I feel like he's been EVERYWHERE and in EVERYTHING and I just want him to...go away. For a few years. And stop being in all of my franchises.

Exactly! It's the fandom around him and how rabid they are about him when perhaps a year or two ago, they had no idea who he was. His popularity just kind of...exploded and you can't really escape him or the fans.

I don't think we should feel bad about it, it's kind of like when you eat too much of something, you don't want anything to do with it for a while. It's a perfectly reasonable response, I would argue.

Now I'm imagining all these actors in a lineup for a crime. The victim mistakes Tom Hiddleston for Benedict Cumberbatch and points him out. And then Hiddleston is led away, insisting that he's innocent.
