That feels nice and those feelings do sort of reach a "peak", but I get there really quickly, it's over really quickly and just not very spectacular? I've been wondering for years if those are actually orgasms or something else.

TMI but I used to be just like you OP. I'd touch myself and it'd feel nice, and every once in a blue moon I'd "peak" with a quick small jolt pleasurable sensation (like, one jerk of the hips and that's it). I assumed that was orgasm and couldn't figure out why everyone went on and on about it.

Then one day I got a rabbit and I was playing with it, and I got those same sensations (pleasant, underwhelming but nice anyway) and I did my little one-time jerk of the hips...but then it just kept going and crowding together more and more until I had full orgasm. The best way I can describe it is it was a series of those "little" good-feeling jerks but much stronger, these hard jerking feel-good contractions at the base of my clit, if that makes any sense.

Of course this is just one lady's kind of orgasm...it's probably not the same for everyone but it's what happened to me :)
