And Arafat's holy war in response to a really cake peace deal was the answer?

I never said this stuff was okay. I'm saying that it's going to happen anyway because the bad blood runs too deep. Even a two-state solution is not going to end the violence.

As far as Palestine not being a state with a government body, that's inaccurate. The region does have oversight from two (competing) government bodies, but blame for the land mess can be laid at the feet of the British. It's going to take a long time to sort that out, but the hundreds of years of bad blood before that is making it much, much more complicated.
