NAYRT-uh, I agree that what is going on re: illegal settlement by Israelis on Palestinian land and back-and-forth reprisal killing crap is not genocide, and to say so is offensive as fuck. But it is not "a little illegal." It's illegal. And as an American, of course many Americans are currently not big fans of Israel, while at the same time not being anti-semitic. Israel is in current possession of more firepower than Palestine, and Americans are very good at rooting for underdogs and also distrusting our own government, which is pro-Israel. Are these logical reasons to not support Israel? No. But that doesn't mean everyone who holds such beliefs is buying into propaganda put out by anti-semitic douchebags. The combination of 'supported by the American government' + 'better armed and supplied than their opponents' is enough to make many Americans twitchy.
