Yeah, I suppose... I'm seriously an extreme introvert and can happily just derp around by myself with my pets and my video games and my crafts for weeks, but I woke up this morning to find one of my neighbors' cars blocking my driveway. Although they've helped me out rather a lot during the storm (they pulled my car out with their truck twice, and helped dig/push it into the driveway when I came home and got stuck again, plus I woke up on trash day to find someone had taken my dumpster through the deep snow to the curb for me), I was a little impatient for them to move just so I'd have the OPTION to go somewhere. Figured I better take advantage of it when they did, and ... I'd say I don't need to leave the house again for another week, but there's a bar nearby that does karaoke on Fridays. :D

Karaoke sounds like fun. It's been ages since I did that. Like 15 years maybe. LOL What do you like to sing?

Ideally? Harmony. With my brother I sing a lot of Beatles and They Might Be Giants, with my girlfriend I sing Simon & Garfunkel and Indigo Girls and cheesy 80s rock, and I've helped my sister-in-law out with some Presidents of the USA and KT Tunstall. I really, really enjoy singing different parts, for some reason.

Left to myself, ridiculous and/or dramatic are good. I do a lot of Queen and Muse, assorted stuff from the 60s and 70s, and sometimes just pull out the most inappropriate-for-me stuff I can come up with, like Megadeth or Sir Mix-a-lot or The Lonely Island. XD Really I'll sing anything if I know it... and if someone wants me to sing something and I don't know it, I "sing" it in the style of William Shatner. (Amy Winehouse and Britney Spears are pretty darned funny that way...)

In the style of William Shatner is pretty much always good. His cover of "Common People" slays me. I just imagine Jarvis Cocker listening to it and giggling.

I looooooooooooove songs that rely heavily on harmony. Gives me shivers up and down my spine.
