My family is Jewish and I hate anti-Semitism (or any forms of bigotry for that matter). And anti-semitism is sadly still common (probably due to lots of effective propaganda)but your stance on criticisms of the Israeli army is just blowing my mind and I can't even agree with you...

If you truly believe that most criticisms of the Israeli army come from propaganda then you are wrong. Things are not so simple and Israel must defend itself but the Israeli government/army has done (and is doing) some truly awful things. Because of this, criticisms of Israel cannot mostly come from propaganda.
The reason I think you are a troll is because you ignore this and keep on spewing more of the same stuff about people being brainwashed etc. It's like you enjoy the wank

That's basically what you've been doing? Or at least a fair interpretation of it, I think. You really do seem to be making these...GESTURES towards giving just enough admission that Israel doesn't have completely clean hands to be politically correct, but essentially arguing the opposite by way of hyperbolized generalizations about people who would go further in that.

Here's the problem. From reading your comments throughout this thread, it's pretty clear that, in your first response, what you were saying is that a very specific section of criticisms of Israel is privileged white kids buying into anti-Semitic propaganda.

However, in your actual post, there is essentially nothing to indicate that you're talking about a specific class of criticisms. It's really, really, really easy to read that post as you making a general statement about criticisms of Israel in general. So I think that's where it's coming from. Everyone's coming here and replying to you as if you said that if you criticize Israel, you're an anti-Semite who's been misled by propaganda. Because that's kind of how your initial post reads.

I mean, it's not like people are just popping off at you for no reason, you know?
