Has nothing to do with sensitivity, everything to do with the fact that if you thrust your hips when you do it and you are laying against a flat surface, you can pull muscles and throw joints out because of the way female hips are tilted (anterior, rather than laying mainly flat with the spine).

But if I thrust my hips like that when I'm in missionary position how is it different when I'm lying prone on the bed? It's the same muscles afaik.

Well, think about it in terms of physics. You're not experiencing any resistance forces if you're just thrusting into air, and you have support under your hips as well (think of the reasoning behind putting a pillow under the woman's hips in missionary position during heterosexual intercourse). Like I said, it's a lot to do with the way your hips meet with your spine and how it can get pulled when you're trying to grind downward against a flat surface.
