I'm fat and I dress funny, but I don't identify with the character. The commenter was identifying/defending with the character on my behalf and in doing so (accidentally, I think) actually insulted fat women who dress funny. I was just pointing that out.

This isn't the 90s anymore, being goth is so 20th century.

nothing; but in a show where NO ONE else is overweight, it was very obvious that they were implying that all slash fans were overweight "unfashionable" women.

I had absolutely no problem with that scene as (a) they didn't make her weight a joke (and find a bit offensive that you want to comment on her weight, seriously I thought SJWs were against that sort of thing?) and (b) I'm not a huge fan of slash it seems the domain of straight women who want to flail over OMG! HOT GUYS KISSING!

Sorry, I'm bit fed of reading about queerbaiting and other such bollocks. I'm a gay guy, I couldn't give a rats arse if there were gay characters in something - fuck that, just give me something entertaining and if there happen to be gay characters, cool but chances are they're only there for the straight women to have a bit of fun with.

Basically, my sexuality is not for your enjoyment and I fucking, fucking wish people would stop looking for queer content in shows that aren't queer and start watching the brilliant shows that ARE queer! (Seriously, why did no one watch ‘Don’t Ever Wipe Tears Without Gloves‘? Oh yeah, I forgot because it was foreign and had subtitles! Oh the horror!)
