Just to be clear, I'm actually not mocking people who are sad about Eleven leaving. I'm making fun of the fact that due to Moffat's time skips, the Doctor was Eleven for longer than ALL OF HIS OTHER REGENERATIONS COMBINED.

Oh god that bugged me so much just because it stunk of Moffat doing more of his "My version of Doctor who is the MOST IMPORTANT" crap.

Eleven while he was still looking young already had a lot of extra years randomly tacked on, then he starts visibly aging in the special so he's god knows how old. I wouldn't mind it but it just felt like there was little point to it. Like the Doctor aging really didn't add much to that messy narrative unless you're really interested in seeing how Matt looks in different wigs.

I kinda like that he actually just got to die of old age. But I agree it didn't add much.
