What didn't you like about the third book?

Not enough romance. Conall and Alexia weren't in the same room for most of the book! Also, I got real sick of Conall only having two emotions: horny and rage. That's kind of boring. And it felt like the author was trying too hard for Alexia to sound British and Victorian.

The explanation of her pregnancy made my head spin. I'm a simple gal, spoon feed it to me!

Alexia forgave Connall waaaaaaaaay too easily for what he said and did.

A femme gay guy and a masculine lesbian? OMG so original!

Not enough Professor Lyall. To be fair the first two books didn't have enough Professor Lyall in them either. I don't think there could ever be enough Lyall.

I completely agree with you re: Lyall. I love his character. I requested this series for Yuletide because I wanted someone to write me the story of just what he saw in Alessandro (who by all accounts was a rather unpleasant person). Alas I did not get it (but I did get Golden Girls fic which was yay!).

Lyall needs more love. Not from the fandom; almost of the fics seem to be centered about him. But from the author who needs to give him his own series.

The Golden Girls is a fun series. We need more tv shows about old ladies snarking it up. Who was the main character in the fic?
