I don't think Reiner loves Historia. I think he admires her kindness but mostly I think him talking about how he loves her comes off as such a joke without any real action behind it. Ymir and Historia are always doing things that show they care for each other. Same with Eren and Mikasa. But there's really nothing between Reiner and Historia.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious that Soldier!Reiner sees 'Christa' as an ideal, as the maiden that his soldier should protect and marry. After all, people call her a goddess due to her looks and kindness (even if that kindness came from some kind of twisted sense of self-worth). And we as the readers know that 'Christa' is just a front (although Historia is still a kind girl but she is flawed). It's like Solider!Reiner is in love with the idea of being with Christa than the actual person.
