Re: If you could delete just one incident from a canon, what would it be?

I feel like the Sam Donovan arc worked so, so much better for Dana than the Casey arc. I'm not sure whether that's because it was better written, or because William H. Macy is such a phenomenal actor, or because he and Felicity Huffman have legitimate chemistry (obviously), but I really thought that was solid, much more interesting than the Casey thing.

Honestly, I feel like in some ways Casey... I like him, but I like him a lot less than a lot of the other characters. I loved, loved, loved Dan (Josh Charles is such an underrated actor). I kind of feel like Casey played the role of the center of the show, in a lot of ways, and I really kind of wish he hadn't.

Such a good show, though.

Yes, you're right, I forgot - Sam was a great foil for Dana and really messed with her head. Danny was my favorite - yes, I'm a Josh Charles fan, too, love him so much - but I adored the way he and Casey played off each other, that was the heart of the show. It produced one of my favorite episodes of anything, ever - Eli's Coming. The pacing and direction were so very good in that ep.

So nice to meet a SN fan, we are so few now but so loyal :).
