It's disturbing how many people still genuinely believe 'suck it up' is actually helpful to people suffering from depression and stress. You don't have to do everything the depressed person wants, but leaving the country to be 'cruel to be kind' is a different matter.

I know. He could have told her his concerns and helped her work something out, or helped her find some support or just *been* supportive.

Hell, i think she and Dawn should have sold the house and moved into an apartment. Less money going out, no repairs to pay for.
