What RPG class would you be?

(Anonymous) 2014-01-11 10:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Inspired by the whole RPG thing a few days ago!

Should be pretty straight forward!

If we're talking D&D, probably a bard. I'm not a dreadful singer and I'm pretty creative, and I have a talent for running things by the seat of my pants (my Changeling game almost never has full plot planned out; I just throw situations at my players and see what they do).

Some sort magic user for sure, probably a mage that uses a blocking and healing magic.

MONK

I always choose the punching class whenever I can, and holy fists of fury are awesome. Providence punch problems away!

I'd be a Barbarian.

Also, since this is sort of relevant to this thread: http://dnd3rd.sourceforge.net/

(It's very useful if you want to write a story about people playing D&D!)

I usually tend to avoid magic altogether and go for a combination of combat skills and technical skills -- like a mix of a warrior and a thief. So, combat technician? It kind of happens in a lot of the games I play -- I can't imagine playing System Shock 2 as something other than a Navy hacker with my small arms skill jacked up to max, for example.

Hell, I picked a wanderer in Dark Souls because it's either that or pyromancer and I couldn't be bothered. Also, the pyro outfit is ridiculous.

Probably rogue/thief.

Ranger, probably. I have decent aim, but I tend to prefer to stay out of conflicts too.

Bard, probably, but I'm also quite bookishly-inclinded so possibly psion or wizard.

My favorite class to play is always rogue/ranger/ninja though, I love ranged combat.

I'd probably be a pastamancer squishy wizard-type, emphasis on the squishy.
nightscale: Starbolt (Mass Effect: Fem!Shep)

If I was a PC, rogue or sorcerer, but if not then a commoner.

Is cannon fodder a class? Or screaming and running away? Cause I think both of those fit me. LOL

Mage, either white magic or elemental. :)

Hahaha, my friends and I had this exact same conversation the other night! Everyone agreed that I would be a bard because I'm the most artistic and I'm a pretty decent singer.

(And I've played a bard in a DnD session and they made me sing a song everytime I used one of my bardic songs. I sang 'We Will Rock You' for one of my battle buffs. SO RAD.)

I like to think I'd be a mage or even better, a sorceress, but I suspect I'd be a random NPC randomly milling about, or even worse, randomly getting killed.

What I prefer to play in games is a fighter/mage, since Baldur's gate doesn't multiclass Sorceror.

Mind you, I wouldn't mind sorceress/cleric either. Good aligned, probably veering more towards Chaotic Good or Neutral Good for preference.
