The Discworld con was amazing. Fans from all over the world, but everything was still small and cozy, and everyone was friendly and eager to hang out with you and include you in their group. And Discworld-related stuff everywhere, all the time. I'd definitely recommend going there if you ever have the chance (and while Pterry is still feeling well enough to attend; the opening of the con was one of the few times the words "the man who needs no introduction" have been used so accurately).

Argh stop it, you're making me so jealous! Last year there was some huge con going on and while everyone around my was crying about not being able to go, I was totally 'meh' until I found out some Discworld cosplayers were there too. Then I joined the crying ranks. I really hope I can get the opportunity to go sometime soon!
