I used to think the same, but after a while when I started to like it it became obvious it was at least well accepted (even more than Senketsu/Ryuko), but not really shipped by many.

Mako/Ryuko and Gamagori/Mako seem to be the main ships in the fandom.

Aww, that does suck. I bet the shipping'll between them will pick up in the second half (assuming that they'll have more character interaction.)

(Minor spoilers for the last episode: And you totally have the fact the Satsuki put a blanket on Ryuuko.)

I sure hope so!

(I actually saw that episode this afternoon and that was what made me go back to the fandom in hopes to see something new of them and... outside pixiv there's nothing new. Nothing T_T)
