Sounds reasonable to me. Suddenly I'm really glad I'm just reading the WTNV transcripts on my own and avoiding the fandom entirely. When did PC become a bad thing? nvm I don't want to know.

PC became a bad people when people were racist? There are racist people in the fandom. The writers have even gotten homophobic emails telling them their show is great but "can they please make Cecil and Carlos not gay". It's saddening.

That said, some people use being PC to attack other people who aren't even doing anything wrong. An example being those who argue about artists not making Carlos dark enough.

There seem to be more of the latter but I find the former more hurtful. *shrug* Overall, the fandom is a scary place if you don't know how to move through it.

/late to the party

But there are tumblrs out there dedicated to rallying people up to get the creators to change Cecil and Carlos' relationship. Some of them want one of them to be revealed as trans, and 'really a woman', yes... that's what they wrote. That they'd be fine if Carlos was trans, because at least that made the relationship a hetero one.

They rewrite the podcasts too.

I'm happier and happier that I left tumblr in December, who wants to be around so many hate spewing imbeciles?

That is horrible. What the fuck. I'm glad I haven't come across that.

I would leave but there's more good that I find than not. *shrug*
