I admit to adoring Jean/Marco, but one of the reasons why I've stuck with it is because Jean/Eren, Jean/Armin, Jean/Sasha, etc, never really work for me. Jean and Marco had a really interesting chemistry, both as friends and as a pairing, but I've yet to see Jean find similar chemistry with someone else.

And trust me, I really want to. I like Jean/Marco but for fuck's sake fandom Jean is NOT going to die alone because he lost his best friend at the age of FIFTEEN.

FFS sometimes I read Jean/anyone else because those fics show Jean MOVING ON from Marco so he can love again.
