IMHO, I don't think it would appeal to a lot of people into femdom, if only because when I think of an appealing D/s ship, that is the opposite of what I want. It wasn't Dom so much as straight up abusive. Bolin did not want to be in that relationship with her, repeatedly asked his friends for help getting away from her, and literally feared for his life. It could have been appealing, but they took it waaaaaay too far.

And they did it as a joke. Haha, that never would've flown with the genders reversed.
