I never liked Logan and Veronica together either. I liked Leo the best of all her boyfriends, I think. But then I ended up thinking Leo deserved better than Veronica.

If they were nice they deserved better than Veronica. Maybe it's because I'm marathoning the series right now and it's more obvious that way, but Veronica Mars is not really that good a person, and certainly not a great girlfriend.

Different anon - I kind of feel like they all deserved better than Veronica, whether they were nice or not. But then I marathoned the show years after its peak too.

I was just talking with an rl friend about this and telling her that I will cry if they don't get back together by the end of the movie. I can't even bring myself to finish season 3 because I ship them so hard.

That said, I wouldn't give up hope, OP. Aren't there a quite a few people among the actors and crew that prefer Veronica/Piz, including Kristen Bell and Rob Thomas? Surely that would boost your chances?

I hate Logan Echolls with the fire of a thousand suns and Logan/Veronica is one of my NOTPs.

I really need to watch this show. Everyone who likes the things I like seems to like it, but for some reason I just never got around to watching it.

I don't care what other people ship. I will ship Veronica/Weevil always and forever.

Oh, yes. And I love Veronica/Logan! But the fact that her and Weevil never happened even once or even for a little while is actually upsetting to me

Veronica and Logan get each other like no one else though. Tbh, she's far from perfect and doesn't fit with guys like Duncan, Leo or Piz. They're too goody-goody for her. I want her to end up with Logan, yes, but even if she doesn't, she needs a guy like him.

Yeah, I think that's why they appeal to me as a couple. Logan's far from perfect, but he's more nuanced of a person than Duncan, Leo or Piz are. Given the kind of person Veronica is and what she's been through, I think that being in a relationship with someone who's got ZERO equivalent experience with that would be tougher than most people realize.

Ideally, Veronica and Logan would have a lot of maturing to do both on their own and together. Not in a "we'll fix one another" sort of way, but with coming to terms with their own respective (and overlapping) issues.

I can't see her with Piz because of everything she's been through. She's been drugged and raped, drugged at least twice more, seen the corpse of her best friend, and been in mortal danger at least four times, off the top of my head. She's got issues on top of issues, and I honestly can't see how that could work out with Piz.

I think it could have worked with Duncan if they both hadn't been trying to hold onto what they had in the past (or at least that's how it always felt to me) on account of their connection through Lilly, but Leo and Piz I can't see working in the long term. The only one aside from Logan I could see would be Weevil, to be honest.

Logan has just as many issues as Veronica, but he's the one who knows most, if not everything, of what was going on. But the way they were in season 3 it's no wonder they crashed and burned.

lol I was at the fan event in San Diego and at one point they asked something like "who ships Logan/Veronica?" I was genuinely worried the rest of the theater was going to notice I wasn't screaming along with everyone else.

I don't ship it particularly, but if they both have grown up a bit I think they could be very good together. They're both flawed people who have brought out the best in each other as well as the worst. Her trust issues and his spoiled rich boy issues made their relationship interesting to watch, if not entirely healthy.

I think Logan is terrible for Veronica, but they have this chemistry that makes me *want* them to be together even so. I know he's square in the bad boy stereotype, but I eat it up with a spoon.

The only person from the show I could see Veronica ending up with is Logan. Logan sure has done a handful of shitty things, but he understands and cares about Veronica. Hopefully with 10 years to mature, he can be a better person. But we won't know until the movies out.

If not him I think it should be nobody or a new character. (I just can't see her with Piz.)

Even if your opinions not popular with fandom, I think Kristen Bell agrees with you, so there's that.

I've never hated a character like I do Logan, but I have resigned myself to the inevitable Logan/Veronica ending. Veronica's romances don't do a lot for me, but I love her other relationships. Her friendship with Wallace and Mac, her relationship with her dad, the alliance with Weevil. They're just so much more interesting and I hope those things are just as a big a part of the film as her love triangle stuff so I have something to focus on.

THIS forever. I want to see more of the other relationships because they just speak to me more. I mean, how often have we seen this on and off and on again affair between the badboy and the mouthy chick anyway? It happens in just about every show everywhere. I want there to be more focus on the stuff you don't get to see as often.

Huh. I thought disliking Veronica/Logan was a pretty popular opinion.
