Holy shit, are you me? I'm writing again for attention-whoring reasons too (at least partially) and I want fanartists to make cool art of MY fics instead of the shit fic that's out there.

And hey, look; all fandoms will be full of shitty fic. That's just a rule. You're not 'ruining' anything by taking a stab at it. But every person who writes that shit will eventually get better (hopefully) because they dared to take the first step.

Every single creative person, from artist to writer to musician or whatever will always make crap at first. That's okay. You just gotta keep practicing, read good writing that you like and learn from it, accept critique, and keep trying.

I've wished and wished to have someone make fanart of my fic too! Since it hasn't happened, I feel really bad, like my fic isn't worth anything...

Be careful what you wish for. On the one hand, it's the kind of thing that's a tremendous honor and makes you smile inherently, but on the other hand (and I'm a terrible person for saying this), it can be really difficult to know what to say when the art is... well... perhaps not the most amazing thing that you've ever seen. Etiquette for that's difficult, I think.
