You appreciate Empire tho right.

I mean I can see the argument for the rest, but Empire is genuinely a pretty decent film.

I'd argue that New Hope is legitimately good at being what it is.

The problems with Star Wars IMO come mostly from (a) the massive fandom and popularity of the films and (b) George being given free reign to do whatever he wanted. But the first two films are basically just pretty good, solid, well-made space adventure films.

It's Star Wars. I think the only thing Star Wars related that doesn't give me hives is Dark Forces.
