My BFF is a dude and it's driving me NUTS that everyone assumes that we want to bone because it's impossible to care about someone without wanting their dick. I am very guilty of shipping best friends together but I can goddamn realise that they can be JUST FRIENDS too.

Oh man, I want to give you a fistbump of "I know that feel." My best friend is also a guy. Who's also my housemate. Who's recently single. And I HATE the knowing looks people give me. "No, dudes, we know all sorts of stupid things about each other because we've been friends for half our lives and lived together for over four years.
