Exactly. I don't think people expected the show to end at the time and the team had to wrap things up quickly. Not that the writing and the general quality of the show hadn't gone down by the end, but imo it never got truly terrible.

Agreed; I liked how open the ending was for that very reason. Everyone can believe what they want about what happens next, and no one's wrong!

Yeah, it was never so bad that I wanted to stop watching. I think a lot of that is to do with my huge love for the ensemble cast in SGA as well.

Well someone will probably tell you that you're wrong because this is the internet~ but yes, head-canon away!

That probably helps explain it because I wasn't a huge fan of the cast the way I was for SG1. I disliked McKay, and I started to really dislike Shepherd after while. I liked Weir and Ronan and sometimes Teyla, but since it became the Shepherd and McKay show I lost interest.

Ooh, yeah disliking McKay would make it hard to keep up with SGA I wont argue with you on that one. Weir was cool and I was really sad when they killed her off, seemed pretty pointless tbh but I still liked everyone so I kept watching, but I can totally understand why you lost interest.

Weir was boring, but a billion times better than Keller turned out to be. I liked Biro.

I was mainly in it for the McShep and I also liked Ronon and Teyla. If any of the other characters had left I wouldn't and didn't care much. Still a fun, cool show with characters I loved to death.
