Bitten episode one (SPOILERS)
(Anonymous) 2014-01-13 01:57 am (UTC)(link)Logan is living in Toronto near Elena, and she pretends he's her shrink. That's...kind of odd? And why, whyyyy was he so forceful with her to go back despite Clay? Logan was pissed off at Clay for hurting Elena, he wouldn't be so indifferent about that...I guess I can also see why they made him more important, since he's going to die later on. Poor unnamed Logan's girlfriend!
A lot of awkward scenes. Jeremy is also apparently tech savvy now, which I think is crazy. They made Philip's mother be a real bitch to Elena, and it felt really forced. Actually, a lot of the dialogue felt forced, especially with the pack.
Nick is Bisexual now, I guess? He wasn't in the book, but there was a scene where he's having a threesome with a man and a woman. Sooo, if you like that sort of thing, that might be a plus!
I cringed at how chummy Clay was with his students. He doesn't really seem that angry either, just mopey. I think that's a problem with the pack, sanz Logan and Peter, though. They're so...bland/emotionless.
The episode went by pretty quickly, so maybe it'll pick up in later episodes. For now I'm not all that attached to it yet.

I get changing aspects of the story to be better for the medium, but why change the characters? Sigh, oh, well.
