This is probably my source of mixed reactions. On one hand, I think the show could be great. But given precedent (MCU and otherwise), I'm not too confident in how the show would be written. It could be a great story of her overcoming sexism of the era (and possibly other issues as well) and handling a world in turmoil due to the radical changes in politics, intelligence, and international culture brought about by WWII, on top of all the economic strife. The history buff in me would LOVE to see that.

But the media buff in me is too afraid that the show will end up turning into some sexist crap that either diminishes her power or fetishizes it, or becomes nothing BUT battling sexism with no attention to plot or character. :(
