My hair's curly, but I also usually keep my hair super short (like one inch short), so a lot of my co-workers forget it's curly until it's growing out. XD

Means I get a lot of, "Wait... your hair's curly?" comments when it starts going wild again.

It also took me until I was in my twenties to realize that brushing it/etc was what was giving me that horrid puffball type look, so now I just put in some leave-in condition/smoother and let it dry on it's own/do it's own thing.

Curly hair: showing that being lazy and just letting your hair do its own thing actually works out pretty well. :p

Glad it's true for you, but oh how I wish my curly hair worked that way. If I leave it alone, it becomes a frizzy mess.

Oh, there's still good days and frizz days, but overall it's nothing approaching the level of 'staticky lion' that I used to deal with when I brushed and product'd it to death.

Same. Right now I am tempted to just shave my head some days. It's soooo dry in my work place that any time I lean near anything remotely staticky (like the plastic totes our stock comes in) I look like I just touched that metal static electricity thing they have at science centres...

Yep, I've rocked the pixie for three years now and you can hardly tell it's more than wavy. But if that shit grows past my chin, I'll have ringlets. It also completely changed texture (and color) during puberty.
