IMO that's the best place the show could go and that's what I want for Will. It's been a fun (if disturbing) ride, but yes, eventually Hannibal should face the consequences of his actions and something should go right for Will just once.

If they keep reversing the roles, given the s1 finale, maybe Will's forced to retire because he attacks Hannibal.

I'm just looking forward to more of Will with his unscaly eyes.

I want Will and Alana to team up to take down Hannibal. That would be intensely satisfying to me.

Nope, obviously. I just want the show to end in tears and cannibalism. If the show doesn't end on some sort of messed up note, I will be sad. I would like Will to survive tho. He deserves it, the poor guy. Hannibal, eh.

I'm going to step up and say I root for Hannibal, at least for the time being. Not to say I don't want him to get his comeuppance, just that for now it's much more interesting to see everyone feel simultaneously seduced and repelled by him being a perfect gentleman. It's way too early in the show to have things start to fall apart.

That being said, it's really easy for me to keep emotional distance from shows and such, and even I felt uncomfortable at some scenes with the direction things took. IMO it won't be long til Hannibal gets tired of tormenting Will, though.

Where is this? I've seen some people say they hope he never gets caught, but it's because they enjoy his magnificent bastard qualities and don't want to see them curtailed too soon, not because they honestly don't think he deserves what's coming to him. It's going to be a while anyway, if you look at the interviews where Fuller maps out the seasons. There's one faction I stumbled across one day that wants him to basically be a slasher movie villain and kill all the other characters with impunity, but that was like twelve people. There's a lot more in the way of excited speculation on how exactly he'll get caught in this version and how Mads will play that whole arc, at least from where I am.

I would be surprised if the endgame isn't Hannibal in a facility, even if it's implied that he will escape.

As fun as it is to watch Hannibal manipulate and kill so many people for now, I would like to see the show end with Hannibal behind bars. And no escaping and running off with Clarice either!

It would just be really awesome to see all of Hannibal's plans eventually fall apart towards the end of the show.

Adding to the chorus of "you're definitely not alone". I tend to this the ending will be somewhat ambigious though - like Hannibal does get locked up, but as someone said above, a hint of his imminent escape. And/or Will's psyche/person is severely damaged as a result of this whole thing. Judging by the way they've been sticking to the books, I feel like this is the most likely option.
