Man I love this show, although some of the characters are really annoying. I swear geology doesn't feature all that much, though? It's far more about sex, drugs and sharing a house with other students,

This anon would like to jump in with unexpectedly strong show loyalty and say: it's an excellent show with excellent characters. Most of them have the potential to be annoying or obnoxious, but YMMV on whether that's plain obnoxious or lovably obnoxious.

Yeah I don't think I noticed as much geology as OP makes it sound like there is- except in the episode this looks like a grab from. Still better than nothing, or the treatment from big bang theory (maybe?)...

This secret confuses me because I find the general subject matter of the show (i.e. student life) to be basically distasteful, but the characters so likable that it makes up for the show not being the type of thing I'd normally watch.
