The impression I get from the Levi x Eren stuff I see is that they think it's 'cute' when Eren behaves like an abused puppy that flinches if you raise your hand.

Another thing I hate about this pairing is how much hatred they have for Mikasa. They treat her like this gross jealous stalker. I pretty much blacklist every ship name for Ereri and I follow the Mikasa tag and I still see Ereri fanart with jealous Mikasa in the background and it pisses me off because they really don't get it.

They treat her like a villain because she was understandably upset when Levi BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF HIM WHILE HE WAS TIED UP. And they continue to portray her grudge as petty, despite she doesn't even hate him anymore since the female titan arc. So why do they still perpetuate that shit?

Honestly, the biggest issue I have with Eren/Levi (other than Eren's terrible characterization) is how shippers completely ignore/trample on the relationship Eren has with Mikasa and Armin. Those two are the most important people in his life, and his emotional pillars.

I don't know about you, but most Ereri fic does emphasis that they are BFF? But then again, I don't read anything outside of AO3 and the occasional tumblr fic but I really don't see them ignoring the strong friendship with the trio.

Well, I feel like the Eren/Levi fic I have read (like Blood Sticks), tend to replace Levi in Armin and Mikasa's role as Eren's unwavering emotional stability and support. And just the fact that Eren somehow needs Levi's emotional support diminishes the fact that Armin and Mikasa are the ones that have given it to without fail since he was a young.

i'm on the ereri fandom and you'd think mikasa would get a lot more hate than she does... but it's just a few punks. they're really not majority. which is great cause she's one of my favorite characters. i don't think i'd be able to spend so much time on ereri if she got bashed all the time like they do for girls in yaoi fandoms

Um, no? The Ereri fic I usually read have Mikasa portrayed as the understandably overprotective sister. If anything this fandom actually hasn't been shitty with the girls in that regard. But then again I only surf the rivaere tag in tumblr and go to AO3. I already know that FF.net and BL boards were a lost cause.

Although I can't lie there was a few doujin that like to play up Mikasa's affections for Eren to yandere levels. I don't really like it unless they are cracked out, but I don't really see it in fic.

And surprisingly I do find that some Ereri shippers tend to ship Eremika as well if they multi-ship Eren.

(Although I need to look for Humanity Strongest's Sandwich fics, they are my fave OT3 after the Mountain Trio OT3).

(And I blame some Ereri fics for making me ship Mikasa/Annie.)
