I hope you guys enjoy it, then! I watched it with my best friend (she leans toward Buddhism because of her culture--anon's probably close to your girlfriend's views) and we had a really fun time, although there are a couple of moments that I could see as being mildly offensive depending on devoutness, the crown dilemma aside. We only watched the OVA episodes and the movie, so I'm not sure about the manga itself, but hopefully my two cents helps anyway. Good luck in your own support hunt! I even checked Amazon UK in case it was licensed there :c

This also may be a bit creepy, but you guys sound like an adorable couple. I wish I knew more people like you two! I've had to part ways with some of my friends because they weren't as liberal peacenik hippie as they first were, to borrow your description.
