(Anonymous) 2014-01-15 02:26 pm (UTC)(link)To be fair, OP didn't say anywhere if they actually watched/read the thing. Maybe they saw gifs of it and were creeped out by the design. It could happen, especially in this kind of comedy. Now, if I may nitpick a bit:
- Jesus actually really loves Christmas. "Christmas" being the shallow shiny holiday most Westerners do: the Santa thing, the lights, the food. He wasn't informed it was even supposed to be a celebration of his birth, especially since Japan only does it and Valentine's Day for the pretty and the presents.
- I don't remember the Archangels pranking. I've read until volume 7. The only pranks I remember were once where three Apostles tried to punk him.
- It's Buddha the one who prints the shirts they wear and keeps it a secret from Jesus for some reason. So, it's the other way around.
