I'm pretty unhappy about all the drama and wank too, but it only really comes from the shear number of fans added to the fandom, not when they started watching the show. (I lived through Phantom 2004 and the fangirls. Believe me I feel your pain.) If any fandom should be about good feelings and friendship, it's Doctor Who. It's sad that that sort of shit happens, but it does.

Just try to keep in mind not all of us newer fans (I was born in 1979) are like that. Or do what I do, and hide from them. *chuckle*

I suggest you go grab your fave ol' school Doctor and watch a story. It will calm you down if you are anything like me. :)
