Well if we'd gotten that season 3, we'd have gotten Lodz's body ("you will see me again, in the flesh") back as a mummy in some other carnival. So there's that?

Gah, what kind of cold comfort is that? The fabled season 3 is one of the greatest what-might-have-been teases in tv history. :(

Carnivale had a great storyline. Unlike other shows, the writer actually knew what was going on and had a storyline planned out.

Me too! I loved Lodz, even roleplayed him for a while vs Ben. Our teenage!fannish!selves should have squeed together. (Although I did have the feeling that the show knew where it was going, tbh. And pretty aestethics.)
