Johnlock shippers hated her when she was announced. A good bit (as I have seen on my dash) ended up loving her because she is actively trying to help Sherlock and John continue to be friends. Sort of hard to scream about her when SHE is 'shipping' them (platonic). Of course some hardcore shippers have held on to their hate.

Nope actually I didn't, please don't assume we're all crazy. I adore Mary, less so in HLV but so much in the first 2 eps.
