I have one of those jobs! I work in a library in government documents - no one gives a crap about my collection and I spend a lot of time surfing the net.

It actually sucks pretty bad. I hate having a job that doesn't matter, doing things without meaning. :(. I wish I were busy, to be honest. There are only so many little projects I can come up with.

I have one of those jobs too -- but I don't (always) surf the net and 99% of the time when I am it is work-related. Depends on the department I guess?

I worked in govdocs for my university library for a while. It was so. fucking. boring. I feel your pain. D:
