I might be wrong, but elves and dwarves don't seem to have any particular animosity towards each other in Dragon Age, and the elves and humans definitely have worse relations, given the history of elf enslavement by humans. There is one elf in the Awakening expansion who seems to dislike your male dwarf party member, but that might just be because he's a smelly drunk.

This is true. They have more of a lack of any kind of a relationship.
