I was planning on mentioning this two days from now, but I lived about a mile from the epicenter of the Northridge earthquake. I can't believe it was 20 years ago! :O Iconic moment of my childhood, and (at the time) ruiner of my 5th birthday.

I still live in the Valley, but a bit farther north. Quite near the old Iverson Movie Ranch. It's also allegedly the porn capital of the world. The Manson Family used to hang out near Spahn Ranch too. :\

Oh and my friend got married at Starfleet HQ, by which I mean the Japanese Gardens at Tillman Water Reclamation Plant.
