Re: Naruto Spoilers

I lost interest... I've got no idea when I lost interest. It just didn't grab my attention anymore. My attention span isn't much better tbh.

I bet it was. Sure, there was a lot of wank but it looked like so much fun.

The top/bottom wars seemed hilarious. Like, why did it matter so much? Reading the wank on fandom wank is fun. Tumblr isn't good for discussion but that's a dead horse. Man, a part of me hopes journal sites will experience a secondwind or something .

I honestly have no I idea why the top/bottom wank mattered so much. I remember people seething about it and writing essays. In most anime yaoi pairings there was a divide about in. I even made a community mocking it, haha (what a time, man). I don't see the divide as much now (or maybe I'm just missing it).

Journals might in a few years? But I think they're a dying breed. I think communication on the net will keep evolving for better or for worse.

It just boggles my mind why it was such a divisive and important topic. Like, that's the hill you're going to die on? Really?

Oh, I know it they're a dyng breed and that I've missed out on them for the most part. Part of me, however, still hopes that maybe some force like nostalgia or a frustration with the lack of communication will bring people back.

Some people are just really passionate about stupid and pointless things.

I keep hoping Dreamwidth will have a sudden spike and communities here will come alive. There's a .0001 percent chance, but I keep dreaming.

Seems so.

We'll both be dreamers then. Are there any other active communities here?

Like fs? I don't know any, sorry.

There are some fic comms kicking around, but even they don't update much. I think there are some kink memes on here as well that are still kinda strong? (The ace attorney & Free! kink memes come to mind.) I think free_anon was a place people visited more when the show was on live. Also scans-daily posts frequently if you're into comics.

That's all I can think of, sorry.
