I shouldn't say this and jinx myself, but that's part of what actually prompts me to write fic. I want more material, so I end up having to make my own.

That said, I have a WiP in an old fandom that I haven't updated in roughly a decade. I actually have two new chapters written, but I'm finishing them at a rate of about one every six months. I'd rather do a "wide-release", so to speak, when I actually finish the dang thing (4-5 chapters to go).

So I feel your pain.. and the guilt. :p
