(Anonymous) 2014-01-17 12:16 am (UTC)(link)BUT, my personal preferences on the series aside, I agree in general about SF book adaptations. I want to find the magician who can adapt the Chanur novels or the Rihannsu series. (which coincidentally ALSO have great female protagonists ^^)

(Anonymous) 2014-01-17 04:34 am (UTC)(link)I do agree that Moon papers over some of what could've expanded the series out to six books, but write to your strengths and all that. I think a TV series would probably actually help flesh out Kylara's superawesomeness more than in the books, because you have to show and not tell so the series doesn't just become a word for word repetition of the books.
Incidentally, the short story with Gerry and Stavros? It had me cracking up all the way through, because just when they had one thing fixed - whoops, here's another problem! :P
