1. I played the violin from age five to eight and I was pretty good at it, including reading music. I wish I'd kept with it.

2. I spoke French from kindergarten to twelfth grade, but I used the knowledge to pass out of my university's foreign language requirement and never spoke/read/listened to it again and I've totally lost it all. (Well, most of it. I can still puzzle out some writing if given enough time.)
