Ooh, can I start?

I hate her and everything she symbolises. The main thing I resent is the desperate attempt to shove her down my throat and believe that she's the greatest thing in the universe; in particular, being better at everything (EVERYTHING) than The Doctor. I want to watch Doctor Who, not The River Song Show.

In addition, I find the constant bringing her back to be symptomatic of Grand Moff's biggest problem; that while he can make a decent one-off episode and an okay two-parter, he cannot come up with an overarching series-long arc. It needs to be more than just hauling back a character you created ages ago, pointing at it and saying "ARC!"; he needs to work it into a theme and weave it through the series. This is why the Weeping Angels and River both got progressively more sucky the more screen time they got - because he had an admittedly interesting idea for a one-off and then tried to force a story out of it that didn't work.

And that's just some of the many reasons why I hate River Song. Moving the fuck on.
